January Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:05pm Jan 7th by President Herb T at Action Cycle. Preamble read, Pledge of Allegiance, along with a moment of silence for our fallen brothers and sisters.

Reading of Minutes was read and approved.  Treasure report given and approved.

V. President Chuck P. had no report

Road Captain Chuck had no report, but discussion of Dan Larsen to take over as Road Captain, Dan accepted and was approved.

C.C. Report, Bama had no report to be given, but will be attending a meeting Jan 8th,2012, will give a report at next meeting.

Public Relations Report, Bama discussed a Marketing Blood Drive on Jan 25th 2012

Bama gave a report on the cost of the drive at 5 with the (X). Fred made a motion to table the drive at 5 until after the auction and see the results of the auction, and Dereck second, and was approved.

Chuck made a motion to allow $XXX for advertisement on the (x) for the auction, then amended the motion to allow up to $XXX, Dereck second it, and was approved.

Legislative Report, Bama had no report to give, but would have a better idea of what was going on after the meeting on the Jan 8th.

Safety Report, Sharron had no set dates yet for classes

State Line Rally, Fred said there was a meeting on 21st of Jan, 2012 at the Shrine Club at 3:00pm, any ideas or suggestions was welcomed.

Old Business. Auction on Jan 21st, 2012 at the Shrine Club on South Baltimore Hwy 63, doors open at noon for donations, with Auction at 6pm, and Party after the Auction at 9pm.  Steve gave a report that everything was ready to go with the Auction, Band is set, auctioneers are ready, and CMA again will be working the door.  And we can still use more items for the auction.

Terry Helton gave a thank you card for the plant that was sent to his dads funeral.

CMA, Steve Johnson reminded everyone of the Blessing of the Bikes on April, 2 2012, and there will be a bike swap in Hannibal MO on Jan 22, 2012

Next Meeting Feb 4th at Action Cycle on North Hwy 63 at 6pm

Attendance drawing was held and Sharon Trueblood was the winner and she donated back to safety
